We're back!

Hi y'all,

Josh here. (Mackenzie is at her first day of work!) We've just gotten back from a week-long trip to Singapore and Cambodia. Sorry for the radio silence: we had no Internet access all week. But we did lots of crazy things, and hopefully we're going to get around to blogging about them now. Here are some photos to whet your appetite...

OH MY GOD YOU GOT A PEDOPHAGIC FISH PEDICURE?

I don't know if that's really what they're called, but I first heard about them a year ago, and they freaked me out so much that I almost doubted if they were real. almost. People will do crazy things to be on the cutting edge, and to pamper themselves, and sometimes those two things combine lethally.

looking forward to an explanation of that wonderful old building with the big tree roots!

Yeah... I did. I'm not sure what the word for them is (although Mackenzie likes the word "ew".) But they were all over the place in Siem Reap. I saw at least half a dozen big tanks full of little fish, often with several tourists dipping their feet inside. I liked the experience: the fish tickled so much that I couldn't stop laughing the whole time. And after only a few minutes, my feet felt clean and kinda smooth.

The wonderful old building is Ta Prohm temple (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ta_Prohm) and it was my personal favorite of all the temples at Angkor. Every scene was a photo-op. Pretty awesome.
